Job Description:
A Technical Sales Specialist has a key role in our Sales process. They need to understand customers’ needs and design a good strategy to generate and drive new leads to close sales.
Tasks & Responsibilities:Altium
- Responsible for sales process: finding new leads, adding to our CRM, quoting and driving new leads to closed sales using consultative selling
- 80% travel visiting prospective customers (average 4 days per week in field / 1 day admin)
- Organizing and leading seminars/webinars
- Arranging and planning customer demos
- Attending annual conferences
- Providing quotes
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum B.S. degree in a life science field such as biology or biochemistry (preferred PhD or MSc)
- 2-5 Years experience in a life science role (sales and/or research)
- Interest in working in a start-up environment with varying responsibilities as needed
- Enthusiastic about keeping and making valuable connections within academia/biotech in the given territory
- Self-starter attitude with an interest in working independently
- Driver's license
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
